WOLCOTT, Conn. (WTNH) -- A car caught on fire in the garage of a Citgo gas station Tuesday afternoon.
According to Fire Chief Kyle Dunn, a call came in shortly before 3:00 p.m. for the report of a car on fire inside a garage on Wolcott Road.
Upon arrival, flames were shooting 30' above the roof line.
Three cars were in the garage at the time of the fire. Officials said the two other vehicles didn't catch fire but had heavy damage.
One person was inside the building working on a car at the time of the fire, but got out safely.
The building has major fire and smoke damage.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
