NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) - Late night studying will never be the same on college campuses in New Haven.

Starting next week students will have the cure to the overnight munchies, thanks to a unique new cookie shop called Insomnia Cookies .

Cramming for tests into the early hours of the morning will never be the same for students at Yale University now that there is a cookie shop close by.

"We'll come down here, we'll be the ones to close the store I'm sure," said Yale student, Katherine Storr.

Insomnia Cookies has opened up shop in New Haven. For those Southern Connecticut State University students and Yale students who want to try the cookies, they don't have to go to the shop.

They can get their favorite cookies delivered to their dorm rooms at any hour.

"It's really three things our cookies are fantastic, nobody can beat them, they're served warm and they're delivered late, those three things combined is just fantastic for everybody people really respond to it," said Patrick Sullivan of Insomnia Cookies.

So far, the shop has a recipe for success.

The first Insomnia opened its doors at the University of Pennsylvania six years ago, since then the company has expanded to 17 shops in college communities in nine states.

Some Yale students gave a review on the cookies.

"I had the Snicker Doodle, and it was very good," said Storr.

"They were fantastic, I had the Cookie Witch, I also had some ice cream that was also good," said Yale student, Amrita Raja.

Insomnia Cookies located on Chapel Street is not just for college students.
