NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- A music store that has been a New Haven staple for more than half a century is about to fade away.

After 64 years in business, Cutler's record shop is closing down at the end of June.

Cutlers was founded in 1948 and moved around a couple of times on the same street when it outgrew it's first location, and then downsized when the music industry changed.

It will close with a sale starting this Friday.
