Driver sought in fatal hit and run in Prospect

PROSPECT, Conn. (WTNH)-- Police are searching for the vehicle that hit and killed a woman who was snow blowing her driveway last Friday, in Prospect.

Police responded to a report of an elderly woman lying on the ground in the road, near the intersection of Straitsville Road and Route 68, around 8:30 PM.

Police say the female suffered fatal injuries after being struck by a car, while she was snow blowing her driveway.

The car left the scene.

Bethany and Prospect Resident Troopers are investigating the accident and are requesting the public's help in locating the vehicle.
