East Haven police locate missing boy

UPDATE: The missing boy from East Haven has been found safe in Hamden and he's been reunited with family, police say.

EAST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- East Haven Police are asking for help in finding an 11-year-old boy with special medical needs who is missing.

Luis Gonzalez was last seen at about 2:45 p.m. near Main Street and Boston
Avenue in East Haven.

Police say Gonzalez is a special needs child on medication. He's approximately 5 feet tall and 90 pounds, and he wears glasses.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a dark colored shirt, and white sneakers with red writing.

Anyone who may have seen the boy is asked to call East Haven Police at 203-468-3820 or call 911.
