Milford, Conn. (WTNH) - A fundraiser was held in Milford, Monday night, to help the family of the brother and sister killed in a car crash.
Friends of 19-year-old Paul and 15-year-old Alexa Heron say the event will raise money to help the family cover funeral costs. The two died earlier this month when their car hit a utility pole.
Organizers say coming together is also a way to remember the teens.
The group designed and is selling t-shirts.
"[The shirt reads] you will always be in our heart PJ and Alexa and on the back we wrote something that says God always takes the best," said Monica Conte, the event organizer.
The fundraiser will go on for a second night Tuesday at Conte's Ristorante on the Boston Post Road in Milford .
