ANSONIA, Conn. (WTNH) -- From fire tricks to sword fights, a local Renaissance Faire promises to entertain both kids and adults.
Take one step into Warsaw Park in Ansonia this weekend and you are instantly transported back in time.
"There are artisans, we revel in it my dear," said 'King' from the faire.
More than 20 acts from all over country have come together for the Mid-Summer Fantasy Renaissance Faire.
"You can come here and step back in time," explained Matt Harlow, "It's one giant play."
You won't go hungry at the faire either, they have plenty of local food vendors. Not to mention, live performances are also taking place.
"We've got free games for kids as well," said Daniel Greenwolf, General Manager of the faire.
