Fire breaks out in New Haven apartment

New Haven, Conn. (WTNH) - Firefighters are investigating a fire that broke out at a New Haven restaurant.

Formerly Amato's and currently Da Legna Restaurant on State Street caught fire Saturday morning.

The fire was believed to have started by a stove that was left on.

Five people who were in the apartment above the 858 State Street business had to be rescued by firefighters. No one was injured.
