NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- Firefighters battled a blaze at a building in North Haven Monday.

The three-alarm fire broke out around 5 p.m., at a building located at 332 Old Maple Ave.

The building housed multiple businesses, and one section of the building is completely condemned.

Fire officials said that people were repairing motor vehicles inside the building when the fire occurred. It is unclear if the motor vehicle work was related to the cause of the fire.

Three firefighters received minor injuries, and one occupant was burned.

The fire remains under investigation.
