Firefighters battle Branford blaze

BRANFORD, Conn. (WTNH) -- Firefighters battled a blaze at a Branford home Monday morning.

The fire broke out at a home located at 56 South Montowese St.

Fire officials tell News 8 the fire began in the basement of the home.

All occupants were able to make it out of the home safely.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
