NAUGATUCK, Conn. (WTNH) -- The Naugatuck community was cleaning up Thursday after flash flooding struck the day before.
The water came so fast and so strong that it buckled roads, washed away hillsides, caused sink-holes in some yards, and even left a pickup truck dangling over an embankment.
The town is under a state of emergency as crews begin to clean up the mess.
News 8's Erin Logan spent the day checking out the damage.
