Gas prices higher in the last month

NORTH HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH)-- There has been a big hike in gas prices, which is very unusual for this time of year.

The average price has gone up over 30 cents in the last month in Connecticut.

Triple A says the average price for regular gas here in this state is $3.99. Nationally prices are much lower at $3.78.
