Hamden, Conn. (WTNH) -- Three Hamden police officers are facing disciplinary action after a police pursuit that ended when a car crashed into a home and on top of a sleeping man.

It was a busy night for the Hamden Police Commissioners Wednesday night. According to the New Haven Register , they had a meeting about two officers in a Taser case, and they found out there are three more officers now facing disciplinary charges in a pursuit.

That pursuit happened January 31st. It started in Hamden, and ended with the car police were pursuing crashing into a home in New Haven and landing on top of a sleeping man. Along the way police used stop sticks to try to catch the guy. He was a driving his girlfriend's car even though she had a restraining order against him.

The Register say the disciplinary charges are about whether the three officers followed department pursuit policy.

The other case from last night involves a suspect who says police beat him, kicked him and used a taser on him multiple times. Their disciplinary hearing was continued to next month.
