High School graduation rates on the rise

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- A New Haven scholarship program is just one of the factors being credited for increasing the city's graduation rate.

City leaders Today will be detailing what they are calling a significant increase in graduation rates at all of the district's high schools.

Meanwhile a report out today says the national high school graduation rate is the highest it's been since 1976, with only about three percent of students dropping out.
