HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police and firefighters were called to Hamden High School Friday morning after the school received a bomb threat.
A school administrator told police a caller indicated that a bomb had been placed in the school.
The students were evacuated outside the building, near the athletic fields.
A K-9 was brought in to search the school, but nothing suspicious was found.
Students were allowed back inside the school around 9 a.m., roughly an hour after the authorities were called.
The incident is under investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call the Police Department at (203) 230-4000.
