Man shot in the back taken to YNHH

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) - A 20-year-old man is in the hospital, where he is being treated for a gun shot wound to the back.

Rashaan Woolfolk, of West Haven is in Yale New Haven Hospital with non-life threatening injuries he sustained during a shooting that took place at 130 Sylvan Avenue in New Haven.

The shooting took place around 1:30p.m. on Friday.
