Man suffering from dementia found safe

MIDDLEBURY, Conn. (WTNH) - *Update*

William Dermody was found at a 7-Eleven store in Newington this morning. He will soon be back with his family.


Middlebury police need the public's assistance in locating a man who suffers from Dementia.

William J. Dermody, 74, requires several different medications for his health issues.

Dermody was last seen leaving his home on Joy Road in Middlebury around 9:00 a.m. Thursday.

He drives a 2006 red Volkswagen Beetle.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Middlebury Police Department at 203-577-4028.
