NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- Five years ago, New Haven created ID cards for undocumented workers; now the city wants to know what the cardholders think.

On Wednesday, Mayor John DeStefano announced the city is launching a survey, looking for feedback from those who have them and those who don't.

The city has also discussed using the cards for banking purposes.

So far, 10,000 cards have been issued.

The Mayor says he hasn't really seen any negative feedback.

You can find the survey on the city's website .
