Worker trapped in Moses Wheeler Bridge

Man rescued; non-life threatening injuries

Milford, Conn. (WTNH) - A man working on the Moses Wheeler Bridge in Milford became trapped when a piece of equipment collapsed.

It happened around 10am.

"They were laying that pipe down when the collapse occured," explained Capt. Christopher Sak, Milford Fire Department.

The man was alert and awake and was transported to an area hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
