MILFORD, Conn. (WTNH) - A student ran and called for help after he thought a man was asking him to get in his car.
The 10-year-old child told a parent that when he got off of his school bus on Burnt Plains Road in Milford, he heard a man's voice asking him to get in his vehicle.
The parent immediately called police.
During the investigation, police concluded that it was a misinterpretation.
The man was telling a child to get in his car, but he was picking up a student who did not get off at the correct bus stop.
The Milford Police Department encourages folks to report any and all suspicious activities.
The Board of Education sent out information to the community regarding the incident.
