Woodbridge (WTNH) - Going green took on a whole new meaning in Woodbridge today. Self-taught artists transformed old cars, trucks and tractor parts along with tools into life-sized horses, sunflowers, dancers and more.

Their work went on display at the Beverly Kaye Gallery on Larraine Drive.

"Anytime you make something out of nothing, it's wonderful," Beverly Kaye, from Beverly Kaye Gallery, said. "These are days of thrift and everybody's watching their pocket books. We're trying to recycle in our gardens and kitches. I think it's a whole lot better that there are beautiful things than trash in a dump."

This is a fun show and children are welcome. The show will go on through June 7.
