Fire at Naugatuck middle school

Students moved to high school

Naugatuck (WTNH) - A fire at City Hill Middle School in Naugatuck forced the evacuation of students. No one was injured.

The fire happened around 9:30am in a mechanical closet. No word on the extent of damage. The fire marshal is on scene investigating the cause.

The students were moved to the high school. Parents can pick up their children if they are able, otherwise they will be dismissed at the end of the day as usual.

No word yet if school will resume tomorrow.
