Gateway College celebrates funding

    New Haven (WTNH) - Gateway Community College is celebrating after the state approved funding for its new campus in downtown New Haven.

    The State Bonding Commission on Friday approved nearly $183 million for the 360-square foot campus site on Church Street.

    Gateway's President revealed to News Channel 8 the new location will help bring added life to the city.

    The new campus is slated to open in 2012.
