Toys for Tots launches holiday campaign

North Haven (WTNH) - It may seem early to talk about holiday gift giving, but Toys for Tots would disagree, and today they're working alongside the U.S. Marine Corps to kick off their annual toy drive.

Toys R Us is helping by keeping donations made to local Toys R Us stores local in the community.

There are more than 14 million children living in poverty in the United States, and with the economy still struggling, there's a bigger call this year to help out.

They will be asking throughout the season, for new unwrapped toys and baby products, or money - and they'll be doing it starting today and going through December 6th.
