Orange (WTNH) - A second arrest has been made in a car accident that left two teens from Orange dead.

Just one day after Officer Jason Anderson was charged with manslaughter in the deaths of 19-year-olds Ashlie Krakowski and David Servin, News Channel 8 is learning of a second arrest.

21-year-old Jaycen Munro has now been charged with providing liquor to minors. Krakowski and Servin attended a party at Munro's Milford home the night of June 12.

After the party, their car collided with Ofc. Anderson's cruiser on the Boston Post Road in Orange.

"Well, this is an extensive investigation that we conducted at the request of the Orange police chief," said Lt. J. Paul Vance of the State Police Department.

Ofc. Anderson was returning from a mutual-aid call in West Haven. According to officials, the teens' car made a lefthand turn into the path of the police cruiser.

But whether or not Krakowski and Servin were drinking that night has not been revealed. According to published reports, police found three small baggies in the car believed to be marijuana.

Anderson's defense attorney says this is a difficult case all around.

"This is a tragic case, it's tragic for everybody," said Defense Attorney Hugh Keefe.

Ofc. Anderson has been suspended with pay pending the outcome of an internal affairs investigation. Munro was released on a $5,000 bond and will be arraigned on November 25th.
