Singer Phil Perry collapses at SCSU

New Haven (WTNH) - Jazz singer Phil Perry collapsed and was rushed to the hospital Friday night while performing at Southern Connecticut State University.

Perry was performing on stage at Lyman Hall when he suddenly collapsed. He is listed in critical condition at Yale-New Haven Hospital.

According to those who were in attendance, most concert-goers thought it was a joke, as he was singing about his ex-wife before he fell.
