New Haven (WTNH) - Saturday night's open-mic at Bru Cafe in New Haven featured Ngoma.

Ngoma is a poet, multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter. Folks came out to enjoy a multi-faceted sounds lyrics and rhythms.

Ngoma helps organize the poetry slam during MLK Day at the Peabody Museum .
