New Haven (WTNH) - It's another still night outside of 10 Amistad in New Haven. Rain covers the area much like the 100 local, state, and federal law enforcement personnel did earlier in the day, with still no sign of 24-year-old pharmacology student Annie Le.
"We hope for the best. I think over time it will be solved," Tony Song, a Yale student, said.
It was revealed through the Associated Press Friday authorities that are reviewing security camera footage throughout the building, checking blueprints and looking through Le's computer and emails
Since Yale's Administration and Police still refuse to offer any other information on camera, News Channel 8 sought out some perspective from former FBI agent and current Brookfield Police Chief Robin Montgomery.
"She does not appear to be the type that might do something silly just to get attention," Montgomery said.
Montgomery was in charge of the Crisis Management Team, and says the longer the case takes, the more difficult it becomes.
"In law enforcement, the time, the clock is ticking. You recognize, the longer things go, the less likely there will be somewhat successful conclusion. That's not to say it's not going to happen. Normally that appears to be the case. Time is of the essence," Montgomery said.
Sunday is supposed to be a jubilant day, with Le set to marry her fiance, Columbia graduate student Jonathan Widawsky.
The wedding reception in Long Island has been canceled.
Pictures show a vibrant, happy couple. But the picture authorities still want people to study is the one last known shot of Lee walking into the Amistad building Tuesday, wearing a green shirt and brown skirt.
