Two people fall from Beacon Falls

Naugatuck (WTNH) - Two people are hurt after falling from a cliff in Beacon Falls.

The DEP tells News Channel 8 that the victims are a 21-year-old Derby man and 20-year-old Naugatuck woman who fell from a cliff in Naugautuck State Forest.

They were transported to Waterbury Hospital

No word yet on their conditions.

The incident took place in a portion of the state forest in Beacon Falls off of Cold Springs Rd.
