West Haven (WTNH) - West Haven managed to put on a grand light show. This isn't just a fireworks show, it's a celebration, West Haven has been doing it up for over 30 years.
The town's 3+ miles of beaches make it a great layout for it all.
"We come down all together and watch the fireworks and enjoy ourselves." Warner Frogge, from West Haven, said.
Family, friends and the Fourth mean a lot to Drill Sargeant John Gigola who came all the way from Fort Knox, KY to see it.
"It's always packed down here," John Gigola said.
Connecticut's second largest fireworks show plans on entertaining the masses with a $20,000 spectacle.
We've been given an exclusive background look at the largest pyrotechnic playground of 6,000 shells that go off.
"We really try to spread everything out," Ralph Galardi, a technician, said.
So the crowd parties on. It's a sure shot that the next generation will be able to carry on the tradition.
