Mark Esposito, 52, was said to be yelling on the bus and calling himself Jesus.
"I was really nervous right form the start with this guy," said Arnold, passenger.
Arnold and other male passengers spoke to him in an attempt to calm him down, but Esposito got louder and more aggressive as the bus rolled on.
"I just didn't know what he was going to do, I had no idea what he was going to do," said Arnold.
While Esposito was claiming to be Jesus he began walking up and down the aisle, and targeting his comments at a young girl.
"Once he started moving towards her, and I had the bus driver at the same time saying get him off the bus, get him off the bus," said Arnold.
Not knowing if Esposito was armed, Arnold and other passengers confronted him, and pushed him off the bus.
"So basically I was the only one that had the chance to grab him before he got to the girl," said Arnold. "So I just grabbed him by his jacket really tight, and I just pushed him off the bus."
Report It pictures support witness accounts that once Esposito got off the bus he began smashing bus windows.
Arnold said passengers made a split second decision to do something before it got out of control.
"I didn't know what was going to happen it's just instinct, was like I got to do something, I wasn't thinking about it, or nothing," said Arnold.
Esposito was arresed on the scene for his actions.
