Pedestrian struck in Meriden

MERIDEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- A pedestrian was taken to the hospital Tuesday morning after being hit by a car.

It happened at Camp Street and Colony Street at about seven a.m. The victim was taken by ambulance to the hospital.

Police have not yet released details of the events leading up to the accident.
