Person in critical condition after car crash

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH)-- A person is listed in critical condition after a two vehicle crash in Waterbury, on Sunday.

The collision occurred at the intersection of I-84 east. One car was exiting the highway, from the exit 23 off ramp, when it collided with a car that was on Hamilton Avenue.

Both vehicles sustained heavy damage and all occupants were taken to local hospitals by ambulance.

One driver remains in critical condition.
