HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- Hamden police have identified the body of a woman who was found in the backyard of a home on Woodin Street.

The body of 50-year-old Christine Pate was found on March 8 in the backyard of 388 Woodin Street.

The home's owner called police after he found the body on top of a woodpile.

Police say Pate was last seen on February 29, but she was reported missing by her Housing Care Manager just hours before she was found dead.

The cause of death was multiple drug toxicity.
