Police receive suspicious packages

SEYMOUR, Conn. (WTNH) -- A police station parking lot and a street were shut down after multiple suspicious packages were received Wednesday.

The parking lot of the Seymour police station and part of DeForest St. were closed down after two separate incidents in which the police department received suspicious packages.

The parking lot entrance and DeForest St. have both been reopened.

The incidents are under investigation.
