Oxford, Conn. (WTNH) - The body of 75-year-old Richard Fiske was recovered from Lake Housatonic in Oxford on Sunday.
Fiske was reported missing on Monday after his rowing scull was discovered overturned along the shoreline.
The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) said that on Sunday a person in a canoe spotted an object underwater and called 911.
DEEP EnCon Police and members of State Police Dive Team searched the area and located the victim.
Fiske's body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner to determine the cause of death.
