Police search for missing Waterbury man

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police are searching for a missing middle-aged man from Waterbury who was last seen on Thursday.

Richard Roncarti, 50, was reported missing by his family on Thursday night after he left his mother's home on Midland Rd. without leaving word of where he was headed. He has not been seen or heard from since.

Police said Roncarti has been depressed lately and his family is concerned with his well-being.

Roncart's vehicle, a 2006 Chevy Silverado, was located over the weekend parked and unoccupied at the Naugatuck State Forest. The forest was searched extensively, but Roncarti was not located.

Anyone with information about Roncarti’s whereabouts is asked to call the Waterbury Police at 203-574-6941.
