Silver alert for Waterbury woman

WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH)-- Police have issued a silver alert for an elderly Waterbury woman who went missing Friday afternoon.

Fadiana Padilla, 77, was last seen at 42 Pine Street around noon, on Friday.

Padilla was last seen wearing a black blouse and a black head scarf.

Police describe her as a 5'3", heavy set, black woman. She also speaks Spanish.

Padilla may be traveling to New York City by public transportation.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Waterbury police.
