WATERBURY, Conn. (WTNH) -- Fire department officials responded to what is being considered a suspicious fire in Waterbury early Saturday morning.
Witnesses told News 8 that a fire had broken out at 385 Watertown Avenue around 4:30 a.m. Saturday.
The Waterbury Fire Chief said that the exact cause of the fire remains unknown, but that they believe it looks suspicious.
A 3-story vacant house was engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived on scene. They say the house was destroyed.
There were no reported injuries. The fire marshal is investigating the incident.
