Teen reported missing on his birthday

Oxford, Conn. (WTNH) -- Police in Oxford were looking for a teen they believe might be suicidal.

Zachary A. Antonio was reported missing on Monday, April 9, his 17th birthday.

He was reported missing around 6:30 Monday morning, and the alert was canceled by noon.

Police say he met a girl online and he might be headed to Long Island, New York.

He left a note saying he was "going somewhere to be more happy." Police say he is suicidal.

Antonio is a white male with brown hair and eyes. He is 5'8" and weighs 165 pounds. He wears glasses. Police did not release his picture.

He was last seen at his home on Old Country Road in Oxford.

Police are on the lookout for a green 1999 Lexus Rx3 with registration 198URB.
