The Great Give 2012 begins in Greater New Haven & the Valley

(WTNH) -- Read, set, give! Now is your chance to change the world by helping out your local community.

The 36-hour long Great Give 2012 runs from now until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.

You can donate to more than 200 charities, they'll get a matching donation, and some of those charities will also win grants of up to $20,000.
