(WTNH) -- State police are investigating telephoned threats made against three Connecticut courthouses.
State police spokesman Lt. J. Paul Vance said threats were phoned in for the courthouses in Hartford, New Haven, and Waterbury.
The Waterbury courthouse is closed while police sweep the building and investigate.
Because of the weather conditions, first day jurors were told not to report to the courthouses, and many of them planned to open for business later than usual, according to the judicial branch website.
