NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH)-- Two men were shot in New Haven on Wednesday night.

Police say they responded to a report of a person shot at 677 Winchester Avenue at 9:20 PM, to find a blue Geo Prizm, with a shattered window on the driver's side, running in the middle of the street.

The victim Reymundo Roblero, 23, of West Haven, was found sitting on the porch steps of 677 Washington Avenue, with a gun shot wound on his left arm. He was taken to Yale New Haven hospital.

Police say they were approached by someone who told them that  the driver of the Geo had also been shot and was last seen running toward Barclay Street, where someone driving a light blue car picked him up.

A short time later, the Geo driver was found at Yale New Haven Hospital. He had been shot in the left hand and grazed on the left side of his head.

Neither victim's injuries were life threatening.

Detectives encourage anyone with information to contact them at 203-946-6304.
