WEST HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) -- A West Haven student was arrested after police say he brought a pellet gun to school.
The principal sent a letter to parents saying, "A pellet gun with a silencer was found. The student was arrested, suspended and will be brought up for expulsion. This incident did not cause disruption to the school day nor was any student or staff member in danger at any time."
"After what happened it's alarming and it is scary because you just never know," one woman said.
"I have not gotten even a phone call or anything from the school system. That makes me very upset," said Jacqueline Hicks a parent.
