New Haven, Conn. (WTNH) - Police have identified the 30-year-old Massachusetts woman who was fatally struck by a truck while tailgating at the Harvard-Yale game. They have also identified the two other victims and the driver of the truck.

New Haven Police said the U-Haul truck, which was operated by Brandan J. Ross, of 31 High Street, New Haven, entered the parking lot from Central Avenue. Upon making a left turn to park on a grassy area where similar trucks were parked, the U-Haul accelerated, striking three women before colliding with two parked box trucks.

The first victim, Nancy Barry, 30, of 11 Crosby Street in Salem, MA, was rushed to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where at 10:16 a.m., she was pronounced dead.

The second victim, Sarah Short, 31, of 196 Crown Street, New Haven, was also taken to Yale- New Haven Hospital, where she was evaluated and treated for her injuries. She was listed in serious, but stable condition, with mobility issues, possibly a broken leg.

The third victim, Elizabeth Dernbach, 23, a resident of Florida, was taken to the Hospital of St. Raphael's, where she was treated for minor injuries and released.

Following the accident, Ross passed a standard Field Sobriety Test administered by police.

No criminal charges have been filed against Ross.

Police said a forensic investigation into the U-Haul truck and its mechanics, as well as the review of witness' statements is required before the investigation can move towards a conclusion.

The truck has been impounded and is being preserved for inspection.
