20-year-old dies in accident on Rt. 11

SALEM, Conn. (WTNH) -- A 20-year-old male from Texas died in a car accident on Rt. 11 on Sunday.

Michael Proctor, of Pearland, TX, was heading south on Rt. 11 when he lost control of his car for an unknown reason, police reported.

Proctor veered off the left shoulder hitting numerous trees in the median.

Proctor died from injuries related to the car accident.

The case remains under investigation.
