Griswold, Conn. (WTNH) - Postal workers are worrying about a dangerous stretch of road, preventing some people from getting their mail delivered.

Postal workers say it is too dangerous to take a left onto Culver Road from Route 201 in Griswold because they can't see speeding cars coming over a ridge. The people who live there say it is dangerous for them as well because they have to cross Route 201 to get to their mailboxes.

"The biggest problem you have is when a car is coming, you can be almost in the middle of the street," said Mike Caliendo of Griswold. "You're running over there because they're not doing 25 and you can hear them coming but you can't see them because you have the high ridge."

Caliendo says his neighbor was the one who complained about the postal delivery. She wasn't home when News 8 stopped by.
