GROTON, Conn. (AP) — Groton's Board of Education has officially fired School Superintendent Paul Kadri over allegations he bullied and harassed numerous school employees.

The Day of New London reports the school board voted unanimously Monday to accept the decision of an independent arbitrator, who found that Kadri's behavior toward district employees was grounds for termination.

Kadri denies the allegations but agreed to accept the arbitrator's decision. The school board placed him on leave last May and he hadn't worked since. He's now permanently banned from school district property.

Numerous school employees alleged that Kadri belittled, harassed and bullied them, causing some to cry and others to quit their jobs.
