NORWICH, Conn. (AP) - The principal of a Norwich public high school has been placed on paid administrative leave.
Norwich School Superintendent Abby Dolliver on Saturday announced the move against Thames River Academy Principal Edward Derr.
Dolliver did not specify what triggered the decision, telling the Hartford Courant that it was "for a non-criminal personnel matter."
Derr's wife, Amy Derr, confirmed the decision to The Associated Press and said that the principal will not comment on the decision at this time.
