Avery Hill Road closed for construction

LEDYARD, Conn. (WTNH) -- A portion of Avery Hill Road in Ledyard will be closed through October 12th for construction.

Officials say that Avery Hill Road will be closed daily from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, October 8th, through Friday, October 12th.

The reason for the closure is that work will be done on water lines. Traffic is open to residents who live along the roadway or need to access the road to get to their street.
